BEREA, Ohio -A 17-year-old boy from Cleveland was arrested for pulling a knife on two haunted house workers at the Cuyahoga County Fairgrounds on October 19. While in a room with an electric chair prop, he brandished a military-style knife at an actor, coming within inches of his chest. After briefly putting the knife away, he pulled it out again in another room, coming close to another actor’s wrist. The boy claimed the knife was fake and ran outside, where he discarded it in a trash can. Haunted house staff alerted security, who retrieved the knife and called the police. The boy, who lives in a nursing home, was banned from the haunted house along with the facility.
