A man accused of raping and holding a young girl in a dog cage or a closet is now indicted on new charges. Barry Thane Bedenkop, 60, has been indicted on two new charges of rape and one of sexual battery. The new charges are for allegations of abuse in late 2022 and early 2023. Bedenkop was already charged on rape and child endangering charges that go back to 2013, when the child was just 5 years old.
