CANTON TOWNSHIP, Ohio-The Stark County Sheriff’s Office has identified six juveniles as suspects in an ongoing investigation into vandalism at Faircrest Park. Information has been forwarded to the juvenile prosecutor for review and recommendations on criminal charges.
Sheriff George T. Maier emphasized the firm stance against compromising community spaces’ safety and respect. Prompt reporting by community members facilitated swift intervention. Vandals used spray paint to deface various structures late last month. An 18-year-old accompanying the juveniles is also a person of interest. The Sheriff’s Office encourages anyone with further information to contact them.
