CINCINNATI, Ohio-Cincinnati Walks for Kids held its 19th annual fundraiser at Great American Ball Park, marking the largest yearly fundraiser for Cincinnati Children’s Hospital. The event supports the hospital’s care and innovative research efforts. Families like Tess Enderle’s, whose daughter Huntleigh received care at the hospital, view the event as a celebration and a way to give back.
The fundraiser includes activities like walks, games, food trucks, and a dunk tank, providing an opportunity for families and clinical staff to connect outside the hospital environment. Despite facing challenges like extended stays in the PICU, families express gratitude for the hospital’s support and the opportunity to fundraise for its ongoing work. Over $500,000 has been raised so far, with donations still being accepted through the hospital’s website.
