AKRON, Ohio-Dr. Gregory Hill, a Buchtel alumnus, returned to his alma mater after 50 years to hold a book signing event at Buchtel Community Learning Center’s Learning Resource Lab. He signed copies of his book, “Through It All: How Sacrifice and Service Helped in Achieving My Dream of Becoming a Surgeon,” for freshmen of Buchtel’s GEAR UP Program, hoping to inspire them with his own experiences. Dr. Hill also engaged with students by answering their questions and sharing insights about success.
