School Board Defends its Integrity and one Elementary Decision

< 1 min read

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio-At the Bowling Green Board of Education meeting, tensions ran high with accusations of dishonesty and finger-pointing. The focus was on defending the decision to build one community elementary school.

The district is seeking voter approval for a combination income/property tax in November to fund the construction. Opponents claimed the plan contradicted the recommendation of a citizen task force, while supporters argued that the majority of the task force favored one elementary but considered sticking with three for better voter approval.
