GREEN TOWNSHIP, Ohio-Pending board of education approval, Oak Hills High School announced Shawn Sowders as their next head baseball coach. Sowders, formerly a longtime Harrison head coach and most recently the Edgewood pitching coach, expressed excitement about the opportunity.
He succeeds Ron Murphy, who served as an interim coach for one year and plans to watch his son play baseball in the future. With a 15-11 record last season, including 12-6 in the Greater Miami Conference (GMC), Oak Hills looks forward to Sowders bringing his wealth of knowledge and experience to the program. Sowders aims to build a successful program at Oak Hills, catering to all levels of classes and skill sets.
