LUCASVILLE, Ohio-The Scioto County Public Library (SCPL) offers a wide range of programming through its locations and Bookmobile, catering to diverse community needs from youth to homebound seniors. Their initiatives include advanced technology, educational opportunities for youth, and skill-building for adults. Currently, they are focused on their annual Summer Reading Program themed “Adventure Begins at Your Library,” running from June 3 to July 20.
Participants can enjoy various activities and events promoting reading and exploration. Detailed programs include adventures in archaeology, cryptozoology, gaming, magic, space, and time travel, tailored for different age groups and held across SCPL locations. Teenagers can also participate in a DIY Survival Kit program aimed at ages 13-18.
