CHESTER TOWNSHIP, Ohio-Brandon Campbell, 16, from Fredericktown, died in a single-vehicle crash in Chester Township, Morrow County. The incident occurred around 11:48 p.m. when Campbell, driving a 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee north on County Road 194 near County Road 21, veered off the road, struck a tree, and overturned.
He was pronounced dead at the scene, and authorities confirmed he was not wearing a seatbelt. The Ohio State Highway Patrol stated that drugs or alcohol were not factors in the crash. Assisting agencies included Fredericktown EMS, Big Walnut Fire Department, Morrow County EMS, and the Morrow County Coroner’s Office.
