< 1 min read

STOW, Ohio-The Stow-Munroe Falls Board of Education is advancing a $238 million, 35-year bond issue for the November 5 general election ballot. If approved, the funds will replace the district’s elementary schools, intermediate school, and middle school with four new elementary schools and a new middle school. The board voted 4-1 to proceed with the proposal, sending it to the Summit County Fiscal Office to calculate necessary millage. Property owners with a home valued at $200,000 could expect an annual cost of nearly $622, based on district treasurer Patrick Goclano’s calculations using a median home value of $224,500.
