OAK HARBOR, Ohio-Alex E. Dedes, a 54-year-old Oak Harbor man, was arrested and indicted by an Ottawa County grand jury on multiple charges related to sexual assault of children. Initially charged in March with one count of gross sexual imposition, additional charges were added in July after accusations involving three more children aged 14 to 16. These charges include six counts of gross sexual imposition and one count of unlawful sexual conduct with a minor. The alleged incidents occurred between September 2023 and February 2024. Dedes had previously posted bail and was released from jail in April but was arrested again in July. He is scheduled for trial on October 10.
