LAKEWOOD, Ohio-A mother alleged that her 1-year-old daughter’s elbow was partially dislocated at Bee My Baby Childcare in Lakewood, Ohio, after a daycare employee forcefully yanked her arm. Surveillance footage from November 1, 2023, reportedly shows the incident where the employee grabbed the child, shook her, and dragged her by the wrist. The child was taken to Cleveland Clinic for treatment, where X-rays confirmed the injury. The Ohio Department of Children and Youth found the daycare employee responsible for abuse and ordered their dismissal. The mother, Kaitlin Rosiu, subsequently quit her job at the daycare and withdrew her daughter, citing emotional trauma. Rosiu has filed a civil lawsuit against Bee My Baby, alleging emotional distress and seeking damages. Bee My Baby has not responded to media requests for comment, and Rosiu’s lawsuit is ongoing.
