YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio-Brandon Turjonis, previously sanctioned for violating parole, has been indicted on new charges of sexual battery and gross sexual imposition. He’s accused of having a sexual relationship with a minor and violating a no-contact order by contacting the teen from jail. Turjonis admitted to the no-contact violation and was sentenced to six months in federal prison, but this was delayed pending the new charges. He allegedly began the relationship despite warnings from his parole officer. Turjonis has a prior conviction for a weapons charge and was arrested in 2020 after a standoff in Youngstown. He served time in federal prison before being released on parole.
