LIMA, Ohio-The Lima Senior DECA program is starting another year with an annual breakfast to welcome new junior members and install new officers. The program focuses on teaching students leadership, civic responsibility, and real-world business skills, with many participating in competitions, including national events. Their first project this year is volunteering at the Buddy Walk at Faurot Park. DECA advisor Chrissy Hood emphasizes that the program equips students with valuable skills for various career paths, particularly in business and finance. This year’s chapter president, Davyon Williams, is enthusiastic about the upcoming year and the impact the organization has had on him.
