TOLEDO, Ohio-Nykiiah Wright, a teacher at Scott High School, has dedicated the past 20 years to sharing stories and promoting education through her nonprofit, the Family World School. Inspired by her experiences during the COVID pandemic, she aimed to connect students globally through reading and writing. Through partnerships and volunteer support, the Family World School has expanded its reach to South Africa, Israel, the UK, and the US, fostering connections and resource sharing among students. Benjamin Brobbey, director of Knowledge Hub, emphasizes the value of these partnerships in enriching students’ experiences and broadening their educational opportunities.
