YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio-A Mahoning County Juvenile Court judge is deciding whether to try an 18-year-old suspect in a Youngstown homicide as an adult. The suspect, charged as a juvenile because he was 17 at the time of the crime, is accused of killing 19-year-old Zariyah Dothard in June 2024. The judge, Theresa Dellick, has heard testimony from the prosecutor’s office and will issue her ruling later. The suspect was turned in to police by his family.
