INDEPENDENCE, Ohio-A Cuyahoga Grand Jury has indicted John Towne and Ahhra Pugh for the death of their 11-year-old son, Hunter Towne, who died in a hotel in Independence, Ohio, in January. Hunter had a medical condition and was reportedly not receiving proper care while the family lived in “deplorable” conditions at the Extended Stay America with six children and pets. Police found Hunter unresponsive on a bed after responding to a report of a deceased juvenile. He had a history of Hirschsprung’s disease and had been ill in the days leading up to his death.
