WEST CHESTER, Ohio-A 17-year-old student from Lakota East High School has been arrested for allegedly posting a threatening message on Snapchat about shooting up the school. The Butler County Sheriff’s Office was notified of the threat shortly after midnight Thursday. When police located the student, he claimed the post was just a joke. However, he was arrested and charged with making a terroristic threat, a third-degree felony, and taken to the Juvenile Detention Center. Sheriff Richard Jones emphasized that such threats are serious and not a laughing matter.
