PLAIN TOWNSHIP, Ohio-A Stark County father, William Dolch, pleaded guilty to negligent homicide in connection to the death of his 7-year-old son. The child was accidentally shot in a motel room at the Knights Inn in Plain Township on June 21. Dolch, 37, was initially indicted on charges including reckless homicide and endangering children, and he was sentenced to five years in prison. Dolch’s girlfriend, Brittany Franko, 29, was charged with obstructing justice for allegedly helping Dolch cover up the crime, and she faces a pretrial hearing on November 20. Another individual, Joseph King, 33, was indicted for tampering with evidence related to the shooting and sentenced to community control after pleading guilty.
