DAYTON, Ohio-Montgomery County Prosecutor Mat Heck Jr. announced charges against three teens involved in an attempted break-in that led to the death of their accomplice, 23-year-old Aaron Washington. On November 10, the group of four tried to break into a home on West Second Street, carrying two guns and disabling the security cameras. The homeowner fired back, killing Washington, who later died on November 13. Prosecutor Heck emphasized that the teens knew their actions were wrong, stating that they should have known better than to attempt a break-in and use firearms.
