A west Toledo mother is stepping up to help pay off Silver Creek Elementary School’s $16,000 lunch debt, ensuring students can focus on learning without financial barriers.
Silver Creek is in the Washington Local Schools district.
Jenna Krusich, a parent of twin girls at Silver Creek, launched a GoFundMe campaign this week to raise funds for families struggling to afford school meals. She has personally contributed $1,000 from her tax return to kickstart the effort.
