What doctors say about helping your children return to their school routines

It’s time for families to start preparing to go back to school; that includes not just buying school supplies and clothes, but getting children back into a routine. “Kids need routines because it helps them feel secure. It helps them expect what’s going to happen, and we all, in general, like to know what to expect,” said Dr. Whitney Raglin Bignall, associate clinical director at the Kids Mental Health Foundation.
