Cleveland schools opened Monday amid sadness over the deaths of two longtime teachers who died last week in a traffic accident. Donald Nunney, 55, and his wife, Maria, 50, were taking their oldest child to college when the couple’s Honda Odyssey crashed at 1:20 p.m. Friday in North Carolina. Two of their children, ages 9 and 15, were injured and taken to a local hospital.
