A 29-year-old pregnant woman was shot Sunday in Akron, resulting in the loss of her unborn child, police say. Police say they were called to Cleveland Clinic Akron General Hospital at 12:30 a.m. Sunday, where the woman was being treated for “significant injuries.” The woman remains hospitalized but is expected to recover.
