At 12:55 p.m. Sept. 8, a resident of Gordon Road reported that he saw two juveniles attempting to steal a bike from a neighbor’s yard. The man scared away the youths, a boy and a girl, and informed the police that they were heading towards Mayfield Road. Police found the two making their way west on Mayfield Road and spoke with them. The girl, 13, admitted that she had tried to steal the bike. The boy, 16, was riding a bike as the girl walked beside him.
