April 15th, 2024-COLUMBUS, Ohio — A man who was a girls basketball coach at a high in the Columbus area is facing criminal charges after a former player says they were sexually involved when she was only 16 years old.
Franklin Municipal Court Records show Jason Dawson, 35, of Charlotte, N.C., is charged with two counts of sexual battery and one count of pandering sexually oriented material involving a minor, all felonies. Dawson was arrested Monday in Charlotte and is being held at the Mecklenburg County Jail
