WEST LAKE, Ohio-The 8th-grade Level I Spanish students at Lee Burneson Middle School consistently achieve high scores on the National Spanish Exam, with 54 students taking the exam this year. They earned a remarkable 21 Gold medals, 16 Silver medals, 11 Bronze medals, and numerous honorable mentions. T
his achievement reflects the school’s longstanding commitment to excellence in Spanish language education. The students’ success is highlighted by their exceptional performance, with some achieving perfect scores and others ranking in the top percentiles nationally. According to Lisa Greenman, the National Director of the Exams, receiving a medal or honorable mention in these exams is highly prestigious due to their size and scope in the United States.
