CANTON, Ohio-A couple from Northeast Ohio, Eric Rush, 26, and Tyasia Singleton, 30, have been charged following the death of their 11-month-old child. Police responded to a call on June 25 at their residence on 10th St. NE in Canton, where they found the baby unresponsive. Despite efforts to revive him at Cleveland Clinic Mercy Hospital, the child passed away.
Authorities arrested Rush and Singleton on charges including permitting child abuse and child endangerment. Singleton also faces a domestic violence charge. It’s reported that Singleton violated a Child Protective Services agreement by leaving the baby in Rush’s care.
