Olmsted Falls High School Graduate Becomes Parma Heights’ Second Female Officer

PARMA, Ohio-Katelyn Romanowski was welcomed to the Parma Heights Police Department on June 26, accompanied by Chief Czack. A graduate of Olmsted Falls High School and Polaris Career Center’s law enforcement program, she earned her undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice with a focus on Forensic Investigations from Bowling Green State University in 2019. Currently pursuing a Masters Degree in Criminal Justice from the same university, she will attend the Cleveland Heights Police Academy from July to December. Katelyn is the first female officer hired in Parma Heights since Chief Czack joined the force in 1999, expressing enthusiasm for serving the close-knit community.
