LIMA, Ohio-Lima City Schools has appointed Darnell Collins as the new principal of Lima Senior High School. Collins, a Lima Senior graduate and district employee since 1997, has held various roles, including middle school math teacher and assistant principal. Currently the alternative school principal, he was chosen for his deep understanding of the district and its students. School Board President Deanna Reynolds-Griffin highlighted his ability to relate to students across all grade levels. Collins expressed pride in serving his community and is set to replace Tyler Turner, who is leaving for another position at the end of the school year.
