CINCINNATI, Ohio-Cincinnati Public Schools is debating a multimillion-dollar district redesign at the board meeting on Monday evening. The plan, which includes reconfiguration, programming, and construction projects, could exceed $200 million. The district has outlined the expenses in a detailed spreadsheet available online. Starting in the 2025-26 school year, Spencer Center will occupy the entire Kellogg Avenue building. Additionally, students from kindergarten through eighth grade who attended Riverview East Academy are now at Mount Washington School, while high school students remain at Riverview East this school year. High schoolers at Riverview will either transfer to their neighborhood school or enter the district’s lottery for next year.
