Judge’s statement raises questions about 2022 murders of Toledo teens

On June 20, there was a little-noticed Sixth District Court of Appeals opinion released in an appeal made by Carrissa Eames to merge her convictions from the December 2022 murder of Toledo teens Kyshawn Pittman and Ke’Marion Wilder. But the opinion, written by Judge Thomas Osowik, was of great interest to Michael Stahl, the appellate attorney for Charles Walker, who was also convicted in the case and is serving a life sentence at Mansfield Correctional Institution.
