A Springfield Township woman who kept her autistic son inside a basement utility closet where he was strapped to a cot and ultimately starved to death was sentenced Nov. 5 to 15 to 20½ years in prison. Hamilton County Common Pleas Judge Jody Luebbers called it “the most heinous, worst” case she has seen in 17 years on the bench.
