A maternity unit at an Ohio hospital is experiencing an unusual “baby boom,” as at least 17 labor and delivery nurses are currently expecting babies at the same time. Staff at Miami Valley Hospital say the record-setting wave of pregnancies has brought excitement and surprise to the unit, surpassing a previous record of 11 expecting nurses.
