Strongsville Schools – 11 Years Running as “Best for Music Education”: Talk of the Towns

STRONGSVILLE, Ohio-Strongsville City Schools in Ohio has received the “Best Communities for Music Education” designation from The National Association of Music Merchants Foundation for the eleventh consecutive year. Among 975 school districts nationwide and 56 in Ohio, Strongsville is recognized for its exceptional commitment to music education.

The designation acknowledges efforts by teachers, administrators, parents, students, and community leaders to integrate music education into the curriculum and ensure access for all students. Strongsville offers a comprehensive music program from elementary to high school, providing opportunities for choir, band, orchestra, and extracurricular activities.

Superintendent Dr. Cameron Ryba expressed gratitude for the community’s support and emphasized the district’s investment in the arts. To qualify, Strongsville City Schools demonstrated commitment through funding, graduation requirements, participation, instruction time, facilities, and community programs.
