LAKOTA, Ohio-Two school districts, Lakota and Ross, are seeking replacements for their departing superintendents. Lakota, the largest district in the county, aims to have a new superintendent hired by mid-to-late May to replace Interim Superintendent Elizabeth Lolli.
Community survey results from 2023 and recent months will inform the selection process. Ross Schools, with Superintendent Chad Konkle leaving for another position, is also actively seeking candidates with the goal of hiring a new superintendent by the end of the school year. Both districts hope for a smooth transition period between the outgoing and incoming superintendents.
