OAKWOOD, Ohio-Oakwood High School teacher Bryan Ellis is a contender in a Reader’s Digest online poll to be voted America’s favorite teacher. Ellis, who has been teaching for 31 years, is currently leading the vote among over 100 teachers listed on the publication’s website. The voting ends at 7 p.m. PDT Thursday, and Ellis has the opportunity to advance to the contest’s quarterfinals.
