SWANTON, Ohio-Toledo Public Schools organized an open house event at Eugene F. Kranz Toledo Express Airport, showcasing their Aerospace and Natural Science Academy’s curriculum both on the ground and in the air. Current student Quinn Hanifan, who aspires to become a pilot and mechanic, shared his enthusiasm, inspired by his grandfather’s aviation tales.
He highlighted the program’s value, offering a head start in a costly field. The expo provided opportunities for children to experience flight and sparked excitement among prospective students like Malijah Dueserberry. ANSAT’s Senior Director, Kurt Wicklund, emphasized the program’s significance in addressing the industry’s demand for skilled professionals. Hanifan praised the program for its dedication to aviation education and encouraged others passionate about the field to join.
