WILLOW, OhioThe Free Kids Lunch Program is collecting school supplies and backpacks for distribution on August 10th at Willow Praise Church. Over the past three years, the program has provided school supplies to more than 1,200 local students. Needed contributions include backpacks, pencils, notebook paper, pens, markers, crayons, glue sticks, mechanical pencils, spiral notebooks, calculators, lunch boxes, erasers, scissors, dry-erase markers, headphones, and folders.
The distribution event will offer a free lunch for parents and students. Donations can be dropped off at Willow Praise Church, and inquiries can be directed to Michale Zuren at 440-251-5381. Supported by various restaurants and businesses such as Walmart, Revolution Pizza, and Master Pizza, the program also provides winter coats, school supplies, and personal hygiene products through partnerships with local entities.
