< 1 min read

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio-Nikki Myers, the art teacher at Bowling Green High School, was recognized by the Kiwanis Club as this year’s high school inspirational educator. Known for her creative teaching methods, Myers uses puns and unconventional projects to engage her students.

During the recognition event, Myers involved Kiwanis members in a classroom exercise, resulting in the creation of bizarre creatures and encouraging teamwork. She emphasizes problem-solving in her art classes, challenging students to push their limits and think creatively. From creating shoe sculptures to experimenting with photography on a local farm, Myers inspires her students to explore their artistic potential and think outside the box.
