GIRARD, Ohio-A man from Girard, Carlton Watson, 32, faces charges of abduction and aggravated trespass after allegedly forcefully taking his daughter from a home on Davis Street. Police reports indicate that Watson, uninvited, attempted to take the child while the mother was away. When a man at the house refused to let him take her without the mother’s consent, Watson allegedly pulled out a gun and left with the child. The police later located the child at a relative’s home in Cleveland and returned her to her mother. A warrant for Watson’s arrest has been issued, but he has not yet been apprehended.
