Teen Sentenced for Crimes Committed During Police Chase with Euclid Police

CLEVELAND, Ohio-A 16-year-old with a lengthy criminal record had his two-year sentence suspended and was placed on probation with a GPS monitor. He was accused of stealing a truck, leading Euclid police on a chase, and hitting two police cars. His DNA was also found in several stolen Kias. Another teen involved in the stolen car ran into an art studio and attacked an artist. The studio owner, Jerry Schmidt, has since closed his gallery in the Collinwood neighborhood due to safety concerns.
