Though the Ohio Senate axed a state budget proposal to prohibit high school students from transferring bus lines in major cities’ downtown bus hubs, the local lawmaker behind the idea says he expects to get a Dayton-centric plan back into the bill. The provision would have made significant changes to how Dayton Public Schools students get to school. DPS provides bus passes to high school students who use them to get to and from school.
