April 3rd, 2024-CLEVELAND, Ohio-U.S. Marshals apprehended a 17-year-old girl and 21-year-old Mar’Shawn Johnson, both wanted on murder charges by Cleveland police. The girl, whose identity remains undisclosed, allegedly participated in the fatal shooting of Marivireese Lashawn Whitlow, 39, on March 1. She and a 14-year-old boy fired shots from the backseat of a car, hitting Whitlow in the head, resulting in a crash on West 23rd Street and Broadview Road.
The boy had surrendered to police earlier. The marshals arrested the girl in Cleveland. Johnson stands accused of fatally shooting Roderick Phillips, 49, on Jan. 13 during a fight on West 25th Street. He was apprehended by federal marshals in Huntsville, Alabama.
