Some Ohio Students Went to School Wednesday Prepared for a Test They Never Got to Take

April 11th, 2024-OLMSTED FALLS, Ohio-Students in Ohio were unable to take state tests due to an outage with the testing vendor. Olmsted Falls High School, among others, had to delay testing, causing disruptions to schedules and classroom time. Assistant Superintendent Kelli Cogan highlighted the logistical challenges of rescheduling and accommodating students’ needs.

Some students experienced disappointment and anxiety due to the delay. The outage lasted for about an hour, with testing eventually resuming at noon. Superintendent Jim Lloyd expressed frustration and emphasized the need for accountability from the state. Olmsted Falls City Schools plan to resume testing on Thursday.
