A new bill introduced in Ohio seeks to improve early childhood education and ensure children receive the support they need to succeed before entering kindergarten. House Bill 1023, sponsored by Republican State Representative Josh Williams, proposes establishing an Early Childhood Education Governance and Outcomes Task Force to examine whether existing programmes adequately prepare children for school.
